Opening Night at The Woolwell Centre, Plymouth: On Saturday 28th April 2012, the Western Union Jive Club held their first rock 'n' roll gig in Plymouth and what a night it was! Joey and The Jivers always deliver a top rate performance and Saturday was no exception ... brilliant. The were supported by DJ Dancin' Dave who came all the way from Leicester to be with us and what a cracking job he did as well. He and the band kept the dance floor busy all night. The venue was superb with lots of room for dancing even though we had almost 160 people there. The Woolwell Centre staff were very supportive and friendly and secretly I think we have a few latent rock 'n' roll jivers there. All in all a fantastic night and we're looking forward to our next band night there on Saturday 28th July which will be a double feature with 59 Ford and Yorkie supported by DJ: Jivin' Johnny.

As with all our band nights, entry will be by advance ticket only ... no ticket sales at the door.

Membership for 2012: Membership is now closed until the end of 2012.
On presentation of their membership card, members will be able to get £1 off the ticket price for our band nights and continue to gain entry to our DJ nights for £3. The entry charge for non-members is £4. There will also be other benefits with membership, for instance, priority allocation of tickets to our Christmas Party etc.
